"To the Kazanek family, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I have know him since I was a little kid. I used to be a spectator at the softball league. Later I was a teammate of his on the Championship Spring Street Bombers. Bill was a guy who always said can do. He would take on cooking for the Knights with vigor, whether it was spaghetti for 200 senior citizens or Steak and lobster for the Members clambake. Bill would always be the cheif chef! I am glad to say I got to have him in my life. I am proud to say I knew him. I am thankful to you all for sharing him with us."
"Dear Mary, Joy and family, my condolences to you all. I have a Mission Hill connection to the Kaszanek family. My late husband and I met at Billy's mother and father's home. Joy is a lifelong friend. Billy worked with my husband Bobby at Roxbury Court. And the Kaszanek boys were my husband's heroes in the Mission Band. My prayers are for Billy, may he rest in the peace of the Lord. May the Kaszanek family have comfort and peace that Billy lived his life with the blessing of his saviour, Jesus Christ and your memories bring you comfort. God Bless and love and peace to all."
