Jean was born in Dorchester but lived most of her life with her family in Quincy. Jean was the daughter of Thomas and Jean (Page) Callahan. She was raised and educated in Dorchester graduating from Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School in 1973. Following High School Jean earned her Associates Degree from Bunker Hill Community College. Jean worked for many years as an Employment Counselor at the Department of Employment and Training in Quincy where she met her husband, Mark, of Weymouth at the time. Jean also leaves behind her first grandchild Michael Henry along with many nieces and nephews.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I had not seen my cousin for many years, I will always remember how sweet and kind and strong she was, even as kids. She was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I am very, very sorry your family is going through this very difficult time. My prayers are with you.
