To Dottie,Mark and Craig. I just read of Clifford's passing. I could go on and on of the great memories I have of Cliffy. The days he spent at Katie and Ralph's house on Crescent St. The many weekends he came over to the coin shop and nights where we all chatted for hours. We would talk about coins and baseball. Cliffy was one of a kind. Katie and Ralph both loved him. I was so lucky to watch both of you boys grow up. your father and mother was so proud of you both. I am blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing all of you.

No one was a more helpful and caring friend and neighbor than Mr. E. He was the unofficial neighborhood watchman of Salem St., a great buddy to my dad, and so supportive to my mom after my dad's death. He not only was like a 2nd father to me, but acted as an honorary grandfather to my son Michael. I'll miss our many conversations with his great wit and historical knowledge, as well as our dinners out with him and Mrs. E when we visited MASS. He was an extraordinary man.

Grandpa E as I called him, was more than just a man and a neighbor next door. He was a gifted individual, where he could always bring laughter to the room wherever he went. He taught me many things chief among being how to treat people with respect and how to be myself around others. Every time I visited Massachusetts it was not without remark that I would often think of him and his wife Dorothy. Though I may not have been family In the flesh, the bond I share with the Erickson's and family is much like a family I could desire to be around often. To me Clifford Erickson will always to me be Grandpa E. I will miss him dearly with all his beautiful remarks when i paid a visit. I wish all the Erickson family condolences in this hard time.
