Mary E. Lounsbury (Brown) 92, of Rockland, died on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 after a period of failing health.
Mary was born in Weymouth, Daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Gagon) Brown and was raised and educated there.
Nana enjoyed bingo, playing cards, the lottery, and trips to casinos. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family. Nana had a smile and a hug for everyone. She was so loving and giving she had many, many "adopted" grandchildren. She was Nana to everyone who came into her life. Her generous heart and soul had room for all.

Lounsbury of Maine, and Lynne Spear and her husband Eddie of Rockland. Sister of Frances Bollin of Weymouth. She has several daughter-in-laws and is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

With heartfelt sorrow, I express my sincere Sympathies to the Lounsbury Families. Mary may have left this Earth, but her spirit and love will always remain in our hearts and thoughts. She is now with her loved ones that have been waiting patiently for her in Heaven. I am very blessed to have had Mary in my life, I thank her for allowing me to be part of hers. My memories of her are the great love she had for her family, she truly treasured every one of you. The weekly family get together spaghetti suppers, best meatballs ever! Her love for Cribbage, Johnny Carson, red lipstick and Tabu. Till this day when I smell Tabu, I think of Mary, It was her favorite perfume and she made sure everyone knew it. I may not have seen Mary for many years, but it never changed the love I have for her. She lived a wonderful life with a family who cherished her and loved her more than anything. Bless you Mary, you will be greatly missed by all who knew you, I love you.
