Robert is my frist cousin Robert L. Maines Jr.

Robert Maines is my grandfather, and, although I never really knew him, he was always in my heart. My mother loved him a great deal, and so did my Aunt Sheri. I only met him two or three times in my life, but the times that I did spend with him were quite fun. I only wish I had gotten to know him better than I know him now. I am extremely sorry for everyones loss; he was a great man.

Carol, Robby and Heather,

Bob and I had a lot of laughs over the years and I can't tell you how sorry I am at your loss. A great guy with a terrific sense of humor. A lot of people have come into my life and I'm glad Bob was one of them. May God be with you.

I only had the chance to meet Bob once but it was a joyous occasion for us all as he gave his daughter's hand to my son's in marriage. Bob will be missed by many but never forgotten.

Carol and family,
I amso sorry for your loss. I did not know Bob personally but after working with Carol as these years, I feel I knew Bob very well. CArol always told me how generous Bob was with his time and always ready to lend a hand. I know he will be greatly missed by all of you. In time you will be able to reminisce and remember all the wonderful times you had together.

Growing up with Heather means I also grew up with the Maines family. Carol and Bob were like a second set of parents. Bob coached our softball team, and made the meanest burgers I've still ever tasted. May you rest in peace knowing that you live on in the impressions you've made and the love you've shared.

Carol, Heather, Seth, & Family,
Although we only knew Bob for a short while. Bob's memory will last a life time. He was one of the "realest" people, we have ever had the pleasure to meet. Bob was a very friendly and witty man. I seen the tears run down his face when he walked Heather down the aisle. That is all I needed to see to tell me what kind of man he was. We are thankful to him for taking Seth into his heart and home and loving him like he was his own son. There are no words to express the depth of our sorrow. We will be keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you the comfort, strength, and peace that you all need to get through this time. We are but a phone call away if you need us.
Much love,
Lorraine & Steve

Carol and Family:
So sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you. The two of you were so perfect together. I always loved the way he said Carol. His whole tone of voice changed to one of love when he said your name. He was a wonderful, kind, loving man. We were all blessed to have known him.

Phil and I are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing and we wish to express our deepest condolences to the Maines family. I was married to Bob for 8 years and together we share two beautiful daughters, Sheryl & Sandra. We were very young and had many struggles. We also had many good times and it is those good times that I will forever remember when I think about Bob. He was a very smart and multi talented man and that is how I will always remember him. Please accept our deepest Condolences.......Phil & Sharon Cushman
