Edith "Edie" (Huntley) Ridley, 91 of Kingston. Died on February 25, 2018 at the Wingate at Silver Lake Skilled Nursing Facility in Kingston. She was born on June 23, 1926 in Pembroke to the late Robert and Alice (Parker) Huntley. Edie was the loving wife of the late Everett C. Ridley.

Edie was a 1944 Hanover High School graduate and later attended Wheelock College earning her Bachelors of Education. She was retired from Pembroke Public Schools after 27 years as a teacher. Edie was a lifelong member of St. Andrew's Church in Hanover, a member of the Plymouth County Retired Teachers Association, Huntley National Association and a former member of the Hobomock Hoe Downers Square Dance Club.

With her husband Everett, she traveled extensively in the United Sates and Canada, and accumulated a large collected of colored slides. The Ridley's occasionally presented slide shows to local clubs and organizations.

She is survived by her three step-sons, Wayne F. Ridley and his wife Debbie, Paul A. Ridley and Glen A. Ridley. She was the sister of Philip and his wife Justine Huntley of Hanson, Phillip's former wife Nancy Huntley of Hanson, Carolyn Fritz of KY, the late Parker Huntley, Robert Huntley Jr. and Florence Keane. Edie will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Edie's life at a Memorial Service on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Hanover, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith's name to St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Hanover. For more information please visit
