Patricia Ruth (Lotti) Fregeau, 74, died peacefully at her home in Hobe Sound, Florida on April 3, 2017 with her husband at her side.
Patricia was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on September 26, 1942, the oldest daughter of Charles and Mary (Fran) Lotti. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, the Reverend Stephen Fregeau, her daughter Michelle (Fregeau) Murphy and her husband Michael of Rockland, MA, her son Stephen Fregeau and his wife Christine of Rochester, NY, her grandchildren Vincent Ayube, Gabrielle Fregeau, Zachary Murphy and Jeremy Fregeau and her niece Kelly Jarvis and her husband Ken.
She was predeceased in death by her brothers Jimmy and Mickey Lotti. She leaves behind her sister Judy Roy and her husband Roger of Abington, MA, her sister Jacqueline Freeman and her husband Jack of Georgia, her brother Michael Lotti and his wife Karen of Whitman, MA, her sister Michelle Nelson and her husband Jay of Duxbury, MA, and her sister Mary Adams and Roland of Rochester, MA, her cousins Paul McNeil and wife Pat of Virginia and George McNeil and wife Marsha of Abington, MA. Patricia also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her.
Patricia attended school in Abington and was a member of the graduating class of 1960. She went on to attend nursing school at the Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. In addition to serving as a visiting nurse in Rockland, Pat and her husband also owned Emergency Equipment Company in Rockland for many years.
Pat had a strong religious conviction and was involved with her church, Marriage Encounter, Youth Encounter Spirit, Cursillo, Daughters of the King and weekly Bible studies and prayer groups. Pat and her husband were called to serve at the Duncan Conference Center in Delray Beach Florida for 10 years and made Florida their permanent home.
She had a passion for collecting tea pots and socializing with several knitting and craft groups in both Massachusetts and Florida. In her younger days she was an avid camper and square dancer. Throughout her life she was a loving caretaker of her extended family, friends and those within her church and the local community-always opening her home and heart to those in need.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Pat's life will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3 Goddard Avenue, Rockland on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held following the service in the Parish Hall. Committal will be at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Abington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Episcopal Church Memorial Fund. The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home of Rockland is honored to be assisting the Fregeau family.
