Carmella "Cal" M. Kelley (DiMartino), of Rockland, MA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born and raised in Boston, MA. Carmella worked for Phillips Family Hospitality Group for many years until she retired at the age of 82. Carmella's greatest joy in life was her family. Devoted wife to Thomas J. Kelley who predeceased her in 1982. Carmella and Thomas were married October 3, 1948 in Boston, MA. Beloved mother of Joseph P. Kelley and his wife Karen of Scituate, MA, Robert D. Kelley of Rockland, MA, Donna M. Carey of Norwell, MA, and the late Donald R. Kelley, who died before his first birthday.

Cherished grandmother to her 10 grandchildren: Shawn Kelley, and his wife Elizabeth of Quechee, VT, Karianne Golemme and her husband Douglas of Rockland, MA, the late Sgt. Michael J. Kelley who was killed in action, June 8, 2005 in Afghanistan. Colleen Dugan, and her husband Patrick of Holbrook, MA, Daniela Sicuranza and her husband Christopher of Arlington, VA, Thomas Kelley and his wife Meredyth of Chicago, IL, Nicholas Kelley and his wife Casey of Ashburn, VA, Ashley Carey of Haverhill, MA, Michael Carey of Norwell, MA, and Robbie Carey of Norwell, MA. She is also survived by her 12 great grandchildren.

Carmella was predeceased by her brother Peter DiMartino, sisters, Rena Mancine, and Rose Jones. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Ann Phinney of Holbrook, MA, brother- in-law John Kelley and his wife Lynne of Abington, MA, many nieces, nephews, and extend family members.
Visiting Hours will be held at Magoun- Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street, Rockland MA on Tuesday August 18th from 4pm-6pm. A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 19th at Holy Family Church 403 Union Street Rockland, MA, followed by burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery 355 Walk Hill Street Boston, MA. Adhering to COVID- 19 guidelines, face masks will be required.

Should friends and family desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in Carmella's memory may be sent to her grandson Michael's memorial fund to support the elementary school built in his honor in Afghanistan.
